WASH PROGRAME
We promote sanitation and hygiene among the needy communities.
Food Security & Livelihood
Community Needs Initiative believes that building sustainable and resilient livelihoods for people and families with vulnerabilities across South Sudan is the way to go. Empowerment of communities leads to greater participation and ownership by communities of their own development. CNI has implemented several FSL activities applying farmer filed schools (FFS) methodology to improve farmers’ production and economic capacities, agronomic practices, post-harvest handling and practices of climate smart farming and fishing. The projects focused on training farmers on post-harvest handling and fish processing techniques enhancing their productivity which in turn strengthened the weak food security and improve their marketing capacities. Over 120 Women and girls have been empowered with enterpreneual knowledge and practical skills with business startups to increase their household income and reduce dependence on men.

Protection & GBV
